TymeDrop is privacy-first. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising or tracking.
It processes text, images, or PDFs you choose so you can review dates before saving events to your calendar.
If you grant permission, TymeDrop can add events to the calendar you select. You can edit or remove those events at any time.
If you choose to sign in, Apple shares your name and email address with us solely to identify your account. This unlocks Direct Drop — the ability to send events to other TymeDrop users.
To find friends on TymeDrop, the app reads your contacts on-device and converts phone numbers into one-way SHA-256 hashes. These hashes — never the actual numbers or names — are sent to our servers for matching. Your contacts are never stored or shared.
If you choose to be discoverable, your phone number is hashed on-device using SHA-256. Only the hash is stored — your real number never leaves your device.
If you allow notifications, a device token is stored so friends can deliver events directly to your Dropzone.
If you enter your email for Android updates, it's only used to notify you about that launch.
